Nature All Around

The hotel is situated at the start of the Viking Way, which is a long distance footpath which starts on the banks of the Humber in the north and winds its way through Lincolnshire to finish on the shores of Rutland Water.

We are also in the heart of the Far Ings National Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre managed by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, set within the old Barton clay pits and home to a large variety of birds, animals and plants.

The Lincolnshire landscape is full of quiet country lanes with open vistas, the gently rolling Lincolnshire Wolds and Vales, the waterways, ancient bridleways, pretty hamlets, market towns, windmills & elegant church spires.

Why not take a breathtaking stroll over the incredible engineering feat that is the Humber Bridge and then meander through the Humber Bridge Country Park Nature Reserve which is a haven for wildlife set amongst woods, meadows, ponds and cliffs.
